During last night's statewide town hall, I heard from Montana's about what's important to them -- their concerns, opinions, and ideas, Gianforte said. These statewide town halls and the feedback I get help guide me as I serve Montana. Gianforte's statewide town hall reached nearly 100,000 Montanans. Gianforte took questions from constituents throughout the state, including Charlo, Conrad, Glendive, Malta, Libby, Troy, and Wilsall, as well as other towns and cities. Many of the questions Montanans posed to Gianforte related to mental health care, forest management, trade, agriculture, the national debt, border security, veterans' issues, energy, and House Democrats' efforts to impeach President Trump. In addition to last night's town hall, Gianforte has held statewide town halls in January, February, April, May, September, and October, as well as town halls for seniors throughout the state in April and July. During last night's town hall, Gianforte posed five questions to Montanans to gauge their opinions on various topics. The questions and answers follow: 1. What do you believe is the most important issue facing America today? 30% - Border Security 27% - Out-of-control spending and debt 17% - Rising health care costs 10% - National security and the military 9% - The environment and climate change 7% - The economy and good-paying jobs 2. Do you believe President Trump should be impeached? 86% - No 14% - Yes 3. What should be the top priority for cleaning up Washington? 37% - Term limits 28% - Holding unelected bureaucrats accountable 20% - Banning former Members of Congress from lobbying 15% - A balanced budget amendment 4. Do you believe Congress should ratify the trade agreement among the U.S., Canada, and Mexico as soon as possible? 88% - Yes 12% - No 5. When it comes to holding town hall events, do you prefer statewide town halls, like this, or physical town hall meetings? 85% - Statewide town halls 15% - Physical town halls Montanans may sign up to participate in Gianforte's statewide town halls by calling staff in his Washington office at 202-225-3211 or texting REPGIANFORTE to 828282. 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
