I know Lawrence VanDyke, and I proudly support and endorse his nomination. In contrast to the judicial activism that drives the Ninth Circuit, VanDyke would practice the proper role of the courts to interpret laws, not make them from the bench. Unfortunately, in a move from the thickest muck of the swamp, a trial lawyers' special interest group pushes its extreme agenda against a well-qualified nominee. Marcia Davenport, a partisan hack who openly opposed VanDyke in a campaign, conducted a sham interview and hid behind a keyboard to smear him with attacks on his character. The ABA and Ms. Davenport should be ashamed of themselves. 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
