Over the last ten years, Montana’s families have had a hard time making ends meet, but with tax reform, they will be able to keep more of their hard-earned money, get relief for the rising costs of raising their children, and be able to better prepare for retirement.” “While this budget provides us with a way forward to tax reform, it isn’t perfect. The House recently passed a budget that would balance in ten years, but the Senate’s budget doesn’t balance. The fact is Washington has a spending problem,” Gianforte said. “I will continue working to reform Washington and rein in out-of-control federal spending, which is one reason I support a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.” More information about the House Republican blueprint for tax reform may be found at fairandsimple.gop and waysandmeans.house.gov/taxreform. 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
