Today, Congressman Carlos Giménez (FL-26) sent a letter to the U.S. Department of State officials handling this case to call for the U.S. Department of State to provide information on the situation unfolding and guarantee the safety of U.S. citizens currently stranded in the Republic of Perú. The office of Congressman Giménez has also contacted the U.S. Embassy in Perú. Congressman Giménez looks forward to an immediate response and keeping an open line of communication with both the U.S. Embassy and the Department of State.
