Title I funding assist schooldistrictsin theeffort togive allstudents fair, equal, and significant opportunities to obtain a high-quality education. The funding also supports studentsreach state academic achievement standards and academic assessment goals. This year is going to be different in regards to how schools provide educations to kids because of the pandemic, said Congressman Gonzalez. Regardless, every student and teacher deserves access to learning resources and adequate teaching tools. These federal funds will provide a firm foundation for achieving academic success in the school districts across the Rio Grande Valley. The following allocations have been provided to LEA's in the Rio Grande Valley: Donna ISD: $14,308,308 Edcouch-Elsa ISD: $4,055,142 Edinburg ISD: $21,155,989 Hidalgo ISD: $1,466,863 La Villa ISD: $354,808 McAllen ISD: $15,509,414 Mercedes ISD: $4,328,825 Mission ISD: $11,061,314 Monte Alto ISD: $611,084 Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD: $19,018,407 Sharyland ISD: $3,595,276 Valley View ISD: $130,183 Weslaco ISD: $9,763,327 Congressman Gonzalez continues to be an advocate for every child in the 15th District of Texas and willcontinue towork to bring additional funding to schools across South and Central Texas. ### 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
