Individuals will have the opportunity to adopt a child based on their letter and purchase gifts for those who are less fortunate. Some children ask for toys, basic necessities, and other items, but all are overjoyed on Christmas morning when they see presents under the Christmas tree. Last year, Congressman Gonzalez was successful in incorporating McAllen inOperationSantafor the first time. Every child who celebrates Christmas dreams of waking up on Christmas morning to gifts fromSanta, said Congressman Gonzalez. Unfortunately there are those, especially because of the recent pandemic, that may not be in a position to give their children the Christmas they want because of their financial circumstances. I would encourage those who need help to have their child participate and for those who can help to adopt a child this holiday season.
