Both bridges are being replaced as part of MoDOT’s Fixing Access to Rural Missouri (FARM) Bridge Program. “Getting these one-lane bridges replaced is a huge step forward for rural North Missouri,” Rep. Sam Graves said. “Ever since I can remember, folks have been talking about how we all get the short end of the stick when it comes to road and bridge funding in rural Missouri. Now, we’ve got some great allies in Governor Mike Parson and over at MoDOT that have made it a real priority to invest in our roads and bridges in rural Missouri. I’m grateful for their partnership in securing this federal funding for these bridges and look forward to Governor Parson’s $100 million investment in low-volume roads making an even greater impact on our rural infrastructure."
