Ral M. Grijalva is accepting applications for military academy nominations for the Fall 2019 academic year. A congressional nomination is required for entry into the U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. Each year, I have the privilege to nominate passionate and exceptional young people from across Arizona's Third Congressional District to attend prestigious military academies, said Rep. Ral M. Grijalva. I encourage all highly motivated young people to apply and take an important step toward serving their country. Nominations to the service academies are on a fully competitive basis. Nominations will be determined primarily by high school academics, ACT/SAT test scores, and a personal interview. Qualified candidates will be notified at least ten days prior to the interview date.
