In response, Rep. Ral M. Grijalva issued the following statement: In our democracy, elections are decided by the votersnot by edicts from any one candidate. Record numbers of voters have cast their ballots for new leadership led by Vice President Joe Biden & Senator Kamala Harris. We must wait until every vote is counted. For four years, we have witnessed Donald Trump denying reality, abusing his power, inciting bigotry, and corrupting our institutions. He's waged a war against mail-in ballots, deployed a band of thieving lawyers to suppress the vote, and repeatedly incited his supporters to doubt the legitimacy of the election if he loses.
