| https://grothman.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=1376 | Grothman Statement on Hanukkah | 2019-12-30 | 2019 | 2019-12 | Republican | House | WI | Glenn Grothman | G000576 | grothman.house.gov | legacy | Today, Congressman Glenn Grothman (R-Glenbeulah) released the following statement in observance of the final day of Hanukkah: As Hanukkah ends tonight, I want to, one more time, say Chag Sameach! Happy Hanukkah! Said Grothman. Hanukkah is a joyous occasion that celebrates an important part of Jewish history. I am thankful for all of my Jewish friends and hope they have enjoyed a happy and safe holiday season. While many are celebrating and spending time with family, let us not forget that anti-Semitism is still far too prevalent throughout the United States and the world. Earlier this month we saw an anti-Semitic shooting at a grocery store in New Jersey and just this past weekend a man broke into a New York Rabbi's home and stabbed five people. These heinous acts have no place in our society. I will continue to use my position in Congress to promote pro-Jewish policies and sentiments. -30- U.S. Rep. Glenn Grothman is serving his third term representing Wisconsin's 6th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. | 1 | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z |
