Sadly, Dr. Fauci was retained. Among other things, I believe the inability of the public health establishment to publicize vitamin D falls at his feet. “For over two years, I have called upon our public health establishment to shine on a light on the importance of vitamin D, which helps lead to a strong immune system and studies have shown can decrease the severity of COVID-19 symptoms. Even after he shared that he takes vitamin D supplements, Dr. Fauci never truly devoted his nationwide platform to sharing the benefits of maintaining healthy levels of vitamin D. Instead, he almost exclusively made medical recommendations that made pharmaceutical companies exorbitant amounts of money. This begs the question of why all avenues of treatment were not explored while millions of people worldwide were suffering and dying from COVID-19? “As over 40 percent of the U.S. population is vitamin D deficient, Dr. Fauci’s refusal to highlight this supplement in the fight against COVID-19 and encourage more research undoubtedly cost lives. “Dr. Fauci repeatedly and deliberately misled Congress and the American people on natural immunity, the efficacy of masks, and the funding of gain-of-function research by the National Institute of Health at the Wuhan Lab, all of which warrant an investigation. “Come January, my House Oversight Committee colleagues and I will be ready to vigorously investigate the evidence behind a multitude of key decisions made throughout the course of the pandemic by the NIH, CDC, and White House. “Dr. Fauci’s legacy will be the erosion of the American public’s confidence and trust in our public health institutions.” -30- | 1 | 2026-03-30T01:40:41Z | 2026-04-08T02:59:24Z |
