Robocalls are a nuisance and can sap precious time. These calls can also scam Americans into giving away their personal information and money. We have also seen these calls bombard hospitals, diverting critical attention and resources. Today, Congress took steps to prevent Americans from being bombarded with robocalls and potentially defrauded by passing the TRACED Act. With nearly half of all cell phone calls being robocalls, I am grateful that Congress came together on a bipartisan basis to act.
