Additionally, House Republicans' Continuing Resolution leaves out critical additional funding for the Social Security Administration requested by the Biden Administration. These additional funds would prevent reduced hours and potential closures of field offices. This will hurt seniors and vulnerable Americans who rely on these timely services. This is not governance and only continues House GOP’s dysfunction and chaos. I will continue to oppose any attempt to use the appropriations process as a vehicle to push extreme policies.
