Congressman Rogers voted in support of the bill, as well as the House Resolution that passed in September, directing the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform to continue its investigation of Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. “We all want to see justice for the victims of this horrific sex trafficking ring involving minors. I applaud the strong vote today and the effective ongoing work of the Oversight Committee,” said Congressman Rogers, Dean of the House. “Washington Democrats failed to release the Epstein files under the Biden Administration for four years, but I’m grateful that we are moving forward in a bipartisan manner. I am hopeful that additional protections will be added to the bill for victim privacy, undercover law enforcement and whistleblowers.” The Oversight Committee has already released 65,000 pages of documents and the Acosta interview transcript. They have also subpoenaed the Justice Department’s records, the Epstein Estates and Ghislaine Maxwell.
