The counties and grant fund amounts are as follows: Baltimore County Public Schools: $29,038,881 Carroll County Public Schools: $2,152,303 Cecil County Public Schools: $3,560,056 Dorchester County Public Schools: $2,369,035 Harford County Public Schools: $6,002,823 Kent County Public Schools: $757,544 Queen Anne's County Public Schools: $932,846 Somerset County Public Schools: $1,953,323 Talbot County Public Schools: $1,098,215 Wicomico County Public Schools: $6,297,707 Worcester County Public Schools: $1,879,760 Rep. Harris made the following statement: "These funds will help improve the educational experience of children in Maryland's First District. As a member of the Education Appropriations Subcommittee, I believe our children deserve a first class education, and Title I grants can be an important part of providing that education."."
