Specific funding allocations can be found below: Willet Family Farm, Westminster; $49,993 for the expansion and packaging enhancement associated with the farm's local free range egg production Maryland Capital Enterprises, Salisbury; $131,687 to provide business based training and technical assistance to rural microenterprises and microentrepreneurs Eastern Shore Entrepreneurship Center, Easton; $22,481 to provide business based training and technical assistance to rural microenterprises and microentrepreneurs Congressman Harris issued the following statement: "Providing expertise and hands on training to prospective small business owners is a strong investment in both long-term business development and our local workforces. As the Acting Ranking Member for the appropriations subcommittee responsible for this funding, I remain committed to ensuring rural America is provided the resources and expertise it needs to grow and thrive in our competitive business environment."
