The House Natural Resources Committee’s Public Lands and Environmental Regulation Subcommittee hosted the hearing yesterday on Capitol Hill. Jaime’s proposed legislation would transfer Pearson Air Museum and the surrounding seven acres of land from National Park Service control to the City of Vancouver. “It was heartening to see strong support for our bill from other Members of Congress -- including the subcommittee chair,” said Jaime. “I hope the Park Service got the message that stall tactics and empty gestures are unacceptable.
