Upon passage of the bill, Jaime released the following statement: “I am very pleased to see the U.S. House move this important fishing jobs bill one step closer to becoming law. It's a great example of a bipartisan, commonsense solution to support 3,000 hard-working Americans' jobs— many of which are right here in Pacific County,” said Jaime. “The REFI Act will grant fairer loan terms to fishermen who operate in the West Coast Groundfish Fishery, providing much-needed relief for these struggling businesses.
