For instance, Canada and Mexico purchase nearly one-fifth of Washington's total manufacturing exports, and Canada is Washington's largest market for wine. I supported the USMCA today because this updated agreement with two of our state's largest trade partners is good for Southwest Washington workers; supports agriculture, manufacturing and retail jobs; and will boost businesses that work in the growing digital economy. I'm pleased to help Congress send the president its approval of USMCA because it will open more business for Southwest Washington and provide more opportunities for Southwest Washington workers.
