U.S. Congressman Jody Hice (R-GA) released the following statement applauding President Trump's executive order addressing anti-Semitism around the country, particularly on college campuses. By adopting the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance's (IHRA) definition of anti-Semitism, this order will better enable federal resources to be directed towards protecting Jewish Americans from hostility and discrimination. One of the greatest things about our country is the freedom to profess our religious beliefs, said Congressman Hice. It is shameful Jewish Americans find themselves to be targets of anti-Semitism time and time again. Our Constitution guarantees the right to religious liberty. Discrimination of any kind is despicable, and I applaud the President for his actions to strengthen protections towards American Jews.
