Fairfield County residents with uninsured losses from Hurricane Ida may be eligible to get certain expenses covered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). My office has compiled a Disaster Resource and Recovery Guide. I hope you’ll find this guide helpful to answer your questions about the resources that may be available if you were affected by Hurricane Ida. Fairfield County towns and cities may also receive assistance through FEMA’s Public Assistance program, which assists municipalities with costs of such as debris removal and emergency protective measures.
