After the House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing on the Iran nuclear agreement, Congressman George Holding (NC-13) issued the following statement: After todays testimony from Secretary Kerry, I remain unconvinced that the administrations Iran interim nuclear agreement is in our national security interest. The interim agreement eases too many of our sanctions that have proven effective while allowing the regime to continue enriching uranium. Further, it fails to do enough to disrupt their capability to produce nuclear weapons in the future by allowing the Arak reactor to remain intact and the centrifuges to keep spinning.
