Congresswoman Kendra Horn releases the following statement in recognition of the holiday. This Veterans Day, we honor the brave men and women who have served in our nation's Armed Forces, said Rep. Kendra Horn. Through their devotion and sacrifice, our veterans and service members have made our country a safer place, protecting and defending the freedoms we enjoy. We owe a debt to our veterans, including the more than 300,000 veterans who live in Oklahoma, and I am honored to fight for them in Congress as a Member of the House Armed Services Committee. We must honor our veterans not only with our words, but with our actions. Today we pause to honor their service and renew our commitment to providing our veterans and our men and women in uniform with the support and benefits they've earned. On Saturday, November 9, Rep. Horn hosted a Veterans Town Hall at the VA Hospital in Oklahoma City. Local veterans shared stories of their service at the town hall, which provided a forum for greater understanding between veterans, friends, and neighbors. In recognition of Veterans Day, Rep.
