Horn and local health experts responded to COVID-19 questions Washington, March 23, 2020 OKLAHOMA CITY, OK On Sunday evening, Congresswoman Kendra Horn (OK-5) hosted a COVID-19 Telephone Town with local health experts including Dr. Gary Raskob with the Oklahoma City County Health Department, Dr. Larry Bookman with the Oklahoma Medical Association, and Michele Bradshaw MSN, RN, with the Oklahoma Nurses Association. Audio of the telephone town hall is available here. I am grateful for the health experts and the 6,000 Oklahomans who joined our telephone town hall on COVID-19, said Congresswoman Horn. Over the course of the town hall, we heard from Oklahomans who are concerned about their health, doctors who are worried for their patients, and parents who want to know how to care for their children. While we have taken steps forward, passing emergency health funding and a stimulus package for American families, we still have work left to do to address this crisis and hold the Administration accountable for the efficient and effective distribution of resources. I will continue my fight to get Oklahomans the answers they deserve and the resources they need during this public health emergency. 6,063 constituents joined the Telephone Town Hall by phone or by streaming the event on the Congresswoman's website.
