The report shows that 14.7 percent of the workforce is unemployed, the most severe joblessness numbers since the Great Depression. Oklahoma workers and families are hurting, said Congresswoman Kendra Horn (OK-5). The unemployment assistance and stimulus checks we passed in the CARES Act were a start, but we have more work to do to help get Americans back on their feet. These programs aren't a hand out - they are a hand up. We are all in this together. It is more important than ever that we show up for each other and help everyone through this time of crisis.
