Meeting with Girl Scout Troop 670 Date: Tuesday, August 18 Description: Tuesday evening, Congresswoman Horn will join Girl Scout Troop 670 (Western Oklahoma) to discuss 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment and how young women can take action in their community. Congresswoman Horn is a 4th generation Girl Scout and life-long supporter of the organization. Congresswoman Horn has earned the highest award in Girl Scouts, the Gold Award. Tour of Pierce Early Education Center Date: Wednesday, August 19 Description: Congresswoman Horn will tour Sunbeam Family Services' new Pierce Early Education Center, a facility built as a part of Oklahoma City Public Schools Pathway to Greatness Plan. The education center will prepare 96 babies and toddlers from birth to three for school readiness. Congresswoman Horn will meet with Sunbeam CEO Sarah Rahhal to discuss Sunbeam's services and community collaborations. Ask Kendra: An Education Town Hall Date/Time: Thursday, August 20, 6:00PM Description: Congresswoman Horn will host a teacher listening session with the Oklahoma Education Association.
