The funding comes from H.R. 5305, the continuing resolution that Congressman Horsford voted to pass in September 2021. Earlier this year, Congressman Horsford voted to secure more than $11 million in energy assistance for low-income Nevada families through the passage of the American Rescue Plan. "As Nevada recovers from the economic and personal toll of the pandemic, no family should be worried about how to keep their house heated this winter," said Congressman Steven Horsford.
