Securing Our Borders and Protecting Our Homeland: H.R. 8752 The Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act ensures that the homeland is protected by significantly enhancing border security measures and providing for the removal of dangerous criminals. This legislation counters threats from China, bolsters national security, and supports American values. "By passing H.R. 8752, we are taking concrete steps to protect our borders and ensure the safety of our citizens," said Congresswoman Houchin. "This bill is crucial for maintaining our national security, and I hope the Senate will swiftly pass it." Deterring America’s Adversaries and Supporting Our Allies: H.R. 8771 This bill combats adversaries, supports allies, and promotes American values both domestically and internationally. It cuts funding for wasteful climate initiatives and bureaucratic organizations, redirecting taxpayer dollars to protect Americans. "By prioritizing our resources wisely, we are ensuring that America remains a strong and reliable leader globally," stated Congresswoman Houchin. Ensuring the Strong Defense of Americans and American Interests: H.R. 8774 The Defense Appropriations Act strengthens America's defense capabilities, counters the Chinese Communist Party, invests in military innovation, and supports our servicemembers and their families. This bill combats the flow of fentanyl and ensures that the Department of Defense remains focused on its primary duty: keeping the American people safe. "H.R. 8774 reinforces our commitment to a strong national defense, the security of Americans, and the well-being of our military personnel," said Congresswoman Houchin. | 1 | 2026-03-30T01:40:41Z | 2026-04-07T21:24:45Z |
