"Under President Biden and one-party rule in Washington, families can't afford groceries, utility bills, or gas, crime has reached the highest rates in decades, and nearly 5 million migrants and record amounts of fentanyl have illegally crossed our border. The American people deserve better," said Rep. Hudson. "Democrats don't have a plan, but House Republicans do. Our Commitment to America lays out a detailed plan to secure an economy that's strong, a nation that's safe, a future built on freedom, and a government that's accountable to you." Under Leader Kevin McCarthy, the Commitment to America was crafted by Members, task forces, and committees over the past two years. As a leader of the Security Subcommittee in the Healthy Future Task Force, Rep. Hudson helped identify needed areas to improve health care, supply chains, and national security.
