Hudson. "While I feared the fallout from an arbitrary withdrawal of Afghanistan, the speed in which the Taliban has advanced defied President Biden's assurances from just one month ago. I am also extremely concerned about failed promises to get families and interpreters out of the country. I call on President Biden to now address the nation on his plans to secure American interests and our personnel still on the ground, as well as our Afghan partners who we have a commitment to protect."
