United States was purely political, and it has been rejected by legislators and commentators on both sides of the health care debate. It changes nothing for now and many believe it will certainly be will appealed. I cannot imagine the rollercoaster many families and patients are on who had finally gained health care for their children and those with chronic illnesses through the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, only to have partisan attack dogs try to dismantle it. Party politics should not come into play when people's lives hang in the balance. I hope for the sake of 27 million people who are living in doubt about their access to healthcare that Congress will take action on this matter and secure health coverage for all Americans, but especially the most vulnerable. I've said it before, healthcare is a right that should not depend on the size of a wallet or the digits in a zip code. Everyone should have access to affordable healthcare.
