Karrie Platfoot won the district-wide competition with her trompe l'oiel bulletin board with memorabilia. This piece, entitled "Memories" will be displayed in the United States Capitol for one year. Justin Miller of Richland County's Plymouth High School was named runner-up, while John Embry of Logan County's Indian Lake High School took third place. Jordan awarded Honorable Mentions to Casey Stepp of Triad High School in Champaign County and Kelsey Morgan of Upper Scioto Valley High School in Hardin County. Jordan presented ribbons and certificates to the participating students at an earlier event.
