The funding – made possible by President Joe Biden’s American Rescue Plan – will support providers as they work to recover from the long-term impacts of the pandemic. Rep. Kaptur joined with nearly every House Democrat in supporting the American Rescue Plan, while Republicans unanimously opposed it. “Throughout the pandemic, our hospitals, doctors, and nurses provided extraordinary levels of care under the most difficult of circumstances – making sure no one was left behind,” said Rep.
