The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) grant funding will be split between two projects led by University of Toledo (UT) researchers: $255,500 for mental health research led by Dr. James Burkett. $216,686 for cancer research led by Dr. Dayanidhi Raman. “The University of Toledo’s talented scientists and medical professionals work around the clock to advance the innovative research that may one day solve our most challenging health problems,” said Rep.
