This organization has long partnered with Head Start/Early Head Start, a federal program that prioritizes the health of children and gives parents the means to educate their children from an early age, said Rep. Katko. I am a strong supporter of both the Wayne Country Action Program and the Head Start/Early Head Start Program as I firmly believe they make a significant difference in the lives of countless families throughout Wayne County and all of Central New York. I fought to preserve these funding opportunities in the Department of Health and Human Services funding bill when it came before Congress, and I am pleased our community will continue to receive the benefits.
