Congressman Fred Keller (R-PA) voted in support of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) Thursday as the President's America-first trade deal made its way through the US House of Representatives. With its elimination of Canada's Class 7 milk pricing program and provisions for increasing U.S. corn and soybean exports, the USMCA will make a huge difference to the thousands of family farms throughout central and northeastern Pennsylvania. Statewide, the USMCA is set to bolster 17,000 agricultural and 42,000 manufacturing jobs. Nationally, it is expected to result in $68 billion in economic activity. On the passage of the USMCA, Congressman Fred Keller made the following statement: The USMCA is a huge win for farmers and workers in central and northeast Pennsylvania, who have been left behind by unfair trade deals for too long. It is a shame it took nearly a year for Speaker Pelosi to bring this important trade deal to a vote while House Democrats obsessed over impeaching President Trump. Our economy is booming, and the USMCA will only add fuel to the fire of growth and prosperity we are experiencing under the Trump Administration. I thank President Donald Trump and his administration for making this America-first trade deal possible. ### 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
