A total of $836,189, made available through the Supportive Services for Veteran Families will be directed towards supporting homeless and at-risk veterans and their families. Additionally, $750,000 from the Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program will be dedicated to veteran suicide prevention efforts. “Our veterans have sacrificed dearly for our country, and it’s our duty to support them when they need us most,” said Congressman Kennedy. “I am proud to announce over $1.5 million in federal funding for Veterans One-stop Center to meet the housing needs of veterans and their families, and to reduce the number of veterans who take their life after leaving the service.
