Our economy has grown at a rate of more than 3% in back-to-back quartersand last quarter's growth exceeded 4%. Strong economic growth is a sign that America's businesses, communities, and workers are prospering. It is far from the only sign. Unemployment is at its lowest rate since 1969, the year America went to the Moon. The economy has created 4.2 million jobs since President Trump's election in November 2016, fueled by a Republican policy agenda of tax cuts, deregulation, and freeing up access to capital. Because of Republicans' agenda, the manufacturing sector is adding jobs at the strongest rate since the 1990s. Our economy is producing the kind of high-quality jobs that support families, communities, and the middle class as a whole. The world is taking notice of America's economic success story. Earlier this month, the World Economic Forum named the United States the most competitive country in the world for the first time in a decade, calling America an innovation powerhouse.' Strong economic growth is more than just a number. It is the product of American communities and families that are regaining their confidence. The Democrats don't want to talk about it. But the Republican Congress will continue working on solutions that protect and prolong our prosperity. 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
