This group was made up of more than 182 Vietnam War and Korean War Veterans and their escorts, marking it one of the largest Honor Flights to ever travel from Kern County! Yesterday, these heroes also visited the Vietnam War Memorial where they honored the memories of the fallen, and brought photographs to commemorate their lives. I always appreciate the chance to recognize our veterans and thank them for their dedication and commitment to protecting our freedoms.
