Our relationship with Japan is rooted in far more than geography. It is a connection shaped by history, family, culture, and enduring people-to-people ties. As we look towards the future of the CNMI-Japan relationship, I believe we should continue building on these connections while preserving and learning from the history that brought us together over a century ago.
