The event will bring together more than ten organizations offering direct services and support for veterans. It builds on the Congresswoman’s continued advocacy to improve outreach and ensure that veterans in the Marianas can access the federal, local, and nonprofit programs available to them. “Our people serve this country with honor, courage, and commitment,” said Congresswoman King-Hinds. “The least we can do is make sure the services and support they’ve earned are within reach. This fair is about making access easier, so that no veteran in our community has to struggle to find the help they deserve.” The Congresswoman also thanked the National Park Service for working to accommodate the event at American Memorial Park despite the ongoing federal government shutdown. “We are grateful to all our partners for standing with our veterans, and to the National Park Service for helping ensure this event can still move forward.
