As a former Special Assistant Attorney General in Illinois anti-corruption unit, I cant imagine any situation where our office would abandon legally-obtained documents to the subject of an investigation. The President and his attorneys have repeatedly claimed an interest in helping Muellers investigation. The Presidents transition team trying to withhold documents relevant to a criminal investigation is an odd way of cooperating. 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
