The winning app, "USA Knowledge", created by Abdala Jabase, is a quiz to test people's knowledge about the geography, birds, and flags of each state in our country. Once the user is done with the quiz, the app chooses one of the states the user got wrong and redirects them to a website where they can learn more about that certain state. "Congratulations to Abdala, Uthej, and Connor on placing in this year's Congressional App Challenge. Every year, I continue to be impressed by the ingenuity and talent displayed by those West Tennessee students who chose to submit an app," said Rep. Kustoff. "Through your innovation and skill, each of you has the opportunity to positively impact your community. Thank you to everyone who applied to the App Challenge this year, and I hope you continue to showcase your talents in coding." Students in participating congressional districts compete against their peers by creating original software applications ("apps").
