Ral Labrador, R-Idaho, will field questions from the audience at a 90-minute town hall on Nov. 11 in Meridian. The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The public is invited to meet with Labrador in the Meridian City Council Chamberat City Hall, 33 E. Broadway Ave. Before the town hall begins, Labrador will be available to the media. Reporters may meet him at 6:30 p.m. in his office atCity Hall, Suite 251. Earlier in the day at 11 a.m., Labrador will help celebrate Veterans Day with remarks at the Caldwell Veterans Memorial Hall. The hall is housed in the historic Carnegie Library, at 1101 Cleveland Blvd. The building is undergoing extensive renovations, overseen by the Caldwell Veterans Council.Following the ceremony and until 3 p.m., the public is invited to tour the facility and view displays from veterans service organizations. Owned by the city of Caldwell, the building has been vacant for a decade. The Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion have a 100-year lease to occupy the building and improve services for veterans on the western side of the Treasure Valley.
