The Loyalton Fire was contained on September 14th, 2020. It burned 47,029 acres and destroyed 35 structures in Lassen, Plumas, and Sierra Counties. LaMalfa said: Due to the valiant efforts from front line firefighters, the Loyalton Fire has been fully contained. Recovery has begun, and for rural areas with already scarce resources, it will be an expensive process.
