The Zogg Fire was contained on October 13th, 2020. It burned 56,338 acres, destroyed 204 structures, and took the lives of four people. LaMalfa said: The Zogg Fire's damage to Shasta County, especially to Igo and Ono, was devastating. There is a long road ahead to repair and rebuild. With this Major Disaster Declaration, President Trump and his Administration have committed to supporting Shasta County's recovery efforts. The President has been a strong ally for Northern California during this fire season, following through with aid when we need it most.
