https://lamborn.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=1857 Taylor Force Act Holds Palestinian Authority Accountable 2016-11-22 2016 2016-11 Republican House CO Doug Lamborn L000564 lamborn.house.gov     legacy Taylor Force Act Holds Palestinian Authority Accountable f t # e Washington, November 22, 2016 Last week, Congressman Lamborn introduced H.R. 6389, the Taylor Force Act, to the House of Representatives. This bill accompanies Senate legislation of the same name introduced by Senators Lindsey Graham, Dan Coats, and Roy Blunt. This legislation would require the Secretary of State to certify that the Palestinian Authority has taken steps to end terrorist acts against American and Israeli citizens. It also demands that the Palestinian Authority publicly condemn acts of violence, cooperate with investigations against perpetrators, and end the practice of paying individuals who commit acts of terrorism against American and Israeli citizens. Congressman Lamborn released the following statement: "This legislation is named for U.S. Army veteran Taylor Force, who was brutally murdered by a Palestinian terrorist during a educational tour in Israel. It is absolutely unacceptable that the United States continues to give foreign aid to an entity that rewards terrorist acts in Israel. I am pleased to support this legislation that holds the Palestinian Authority accountable and exercises our Constitutional power of the purse. With this bill, we send a strong message to the Palestinian authority: you cannot encourage acts of terrorism against Israeli citizens or the United States and not expect consequences for these abhorrent practices." f t # e 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
