https://lamborn.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=2164 NDAA Conference Report Passes House 2017-11-15 2017 2017-11 Republican House CO Doug Lamborn L000564 lamborn.house.gov     legacy NDAA Conference Report Passes House f t # e Washington, November 15, 2017 The House voted to pass the National Defense Authorization Act Conference Report for the fiscal year of 2018. It succeeded with overwhelming bipartisan support in the House with a 356-70 vote. The nearly $700 billion budget provides the largest pay raise for our troops in eight years, increases the size of all defense branches, and assists surviving military spouses. Congressman Lamborn (CO-05) issued the following statement regarding NDAA's passage: "National security is a top priority for me as a member of the House Armed Services Committee and an NDAA Conferee. I'm pleased to see the improvements made to our national defense through this Conference Report. At a time when our national defense is challenged by threats like North Korea, strengthening our missile defense is key. These initiatives prepare us for the future," Congressman Lamborn said. "The increased budget will prioritize reforms to save taxpayer dollars, cut wasteful bureaucracy, and streamline our military." "The report also reforms our nation's approach to defense in space. It eliminates red tape and gives our district's Air Space Command support for continued success. This will strengthen our overall national security. I look forward to seeing President Trump sign this into law.” Please find a summarized fact sheet here. f t # e 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
