Recently, Congressman Landsman was pleased to accept the Legislator of the Year award from the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Department of Ohio for his support to veterans and their families across Ohio and the country. As a member of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs during the 118th Congress, Landsman has continued to champion bills that ensure veterans and their families get the benefits they deserve. This includes Landsman’s bipartisan NO Pain for Veterans Act and the What Works for Preventing Veteran Suicide Act, as well as co-sponsoring several critical bills such as the Major Richard Star Act and signing the discharge petition to force a vote.
