The work that started when I first introduced this legislation in the 108th Congress is finally paying off with the tribute that the Caribbean-American community deserves. "For two years, this legislation has enjoyed strong bipartisan and bicameral support and this action is the result of a tremendous effort. I hope that communities across the country will join together in celebrating the invaluable contributions Caribbean-Americans have made to this nation since its inception and to celebrate this nation's great diversity by planning and participating in celebrations of the inaugural national Caribbean-American Heritage Month. ### Next Article 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
